The campaign is over and I share with each of you the disappointment that only comes with a race well run, but lost. I thank you for all your efforts on our behalf. My gratitude is particularly extended to our staff, our volunteers and our contributors whose commitment brought us the ability to raise important issues about the future of Delaware and positively affect the race. I know that you will continue to pursue our vision of excellence for Delaware and hope that we have awakened the conscience of our citizenry to create the momentum for change. My special thanks goes to the dozens of statewide volunteers who gave to us the time they could have spent with their families and friends, all for a cause we believed in so deeply. The next few years are going to be difficult for our country and our state, so we must all remember to be supportive of our leaders, while remaining resolute to our ideals. As for me, I look forward to a period of rest and recovery, and more time with my family. It's appropriate that Thanksgiving so closely follows elections. I will be especially thankful for our effort, our experiences, our friendships and my family during the upcoming holiday. Again, I offer my sincere thanks for your commitment to this campaign and pray that the holidays bring you peace, joy, the love of family and hope for the future. God bless you all.
Sincerely,
